USA Decon's Crime / Trauma Scene Decontamination course is made up of 2 days of classroom instruction and certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Confined Space and more. During the classroom instruction, we cover the legal environment related to crime and trauma scene decontamination. This dynamic portion of the industry is explained on the federal and state level along with trends that are shaping the way you will operate for years to come. Our business instruction includes, but is not limited to, marketing your company, pricing, tracking project performance margins, and examples of corporate structure. Examples of exposure control plans and decontamination contracts are provided at no additional charge. The course materials provided in this class will be a valuable resource in developing your company plans and supporting your company's operations.

For businesses that would like to send their employees, we offer a variation of the class that doesn't cover pricing and profit margins. These employees will continue to be exposed to the legal issues important to their daily work, but without details that may be confidential in your organization. 

In addition to our 2 days of instruction and certification, we also put you through two challenging days of hands-on experience in decontaminating mock crime and trauma scenes including the decontamination of automobiles. Multiple techniques are utilized to satisfy various customer requirements and environments. This portion of the 4-day course will expose you to a variety of environments to prepare you for the day-to-day operations of your decontamination company.

Across the United States, methamphetamine laboratories have been a growing problem.  There were more than 15,000 methamphetamine lab incidents last year in the U.S.   Homeowners, neighbors, rental property owners, potential buyers, and more are becoming more knowledgeable and concerned regarding the contamination plume produced by these labs.  These concerns range from their personal safety, the safety of potential future residents at the site, and the marketability of the property once the decontamination has been performed.

USA Decon offers a 2-day course that covers manufacturing methods, toxicology, flammable and combustible materials, corrosive and reactive materials, personal protective equipment, the handling of contaminated debris, property cleaning methods, and related topics.  We will supply you with a Decontamination Contractor's Work Plan and enable you to meet the high demand for these remediation services.

Corrections/Law Enforcement Safety and Trauma Response - $95.00
Our Corrections/Law Enforcement Safety and Trauma Response course is designed to assist corrections and law enforcement personnel in meeting requirements for CPR and first aid training and compliance. Corrections and law enforcement personnel have a significant health risk of occupational exposure to blood, other potentially infectious bodily fluids, and poisons.  This risk is addressed with an additional certification, Bloodborne Pathogens, and response to poison scenarios during the half-day course.

Industrial/Construction Safety and Trauma Response - $395.00
On any given day, there are more than 250,000 construction sites in operation across the United States. The fatal injury rate for the construction industry is higher than the national average, for this category, for all industries. Industrial sites, along side construction, harbor electrical, height, proper hazard communication, warehouse hazards, heat, exposure to potentially infectious bodily fluids, and toxic exposure risks. This half-day course will focus on the best ways to determine and establish proper work procedures through job hazard analysis. In addition to job hazard analysis, this course also certifies you in Bloodborne Pathogens. Each site offers specific risks, and job hazard analysis is a vital component of your company's safety and health management commitment.
